  • Overview

    Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking a Senior Learning Specialist to develop, manage, write and deliver product-focused programs and related communications for the High Jewelry and Schlumberger categories. The Senior Learning Specialist will be responsible for creating consistent messaging around retail product communications and training materials for both new and existing product and in support of all event collection launches.  He/She will be responsible for researching, developing, writing and delivering key company product training initiatives along with retail focused communications and training. He/She will also lead in-person and remote training sessions, when applicable.

     

    Responsibilities

    Event Content Development & Execution:

    • Design, develop and write a comprehensive training package through collaboration with cross functional partners (i.e. Merchandising, Retail, Design) to support key strategic High Jewelry selling events and collection launches.
    • Work closely with SME’s (i.e. Gemstone Acquisition, Diamond Division, Quality Assurance, Archives) to ensure accuracy of content and positioning.
    • Partner with SME’s (i.e. Gobal Learning & Development, Global Client Development) to ensure the content developed for High Jewelry seemlessly fits into the brand narrative, tone of voice and asthetic of all other jewelery collection trainings
    • Partner with Schlumberger Team to obtain all relevant product related details to layer into event content development.

    Program Delivery & Training:

    • Determine appropriate training methodology for global distribution of content.
    • Create instructor led training (both in-person and through remote technology) and/or creation of regional training packages that can be delivered locally through partnership with Global Learning & Development and regional training teams.
    • Partnering with SME’s (Global Education Learning Technologies) on execution of recorded content (Videos, Webinars).
    • Develop a hierarchy for training deliverables clearly defining levels of support by tier of events.
    • Partner with Schlumberger Team to support the execution of event specific trainings.

    Evergreen High Jewelry Education:

    • Maintain and drive accurate product information across all aspects of High Jewerly.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine appropriate training deliverables and establish work flow to best meet the needs of the organization.
    • Partner with SME’s (Global Client Development, High End Business Development) on the creation of a non-event specific evergreen High Jewelry training toolkit.

    Website Platform Maintenance:

    • Partner with Global Education Learning Technologies and Infrastructure team to ensure product related digital content is current, globally accessible and on message.
    • Lead oversight and maintenance of retail facing product knowledge portals to host all event related materials in an elevated, intuitive and thoughful manner. Partner with SME’s on the website design and wireframe needs.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5 - 7 years retail/training experience with a luxury brand
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Excellent Communication/writing skills
    • Strong Project Management skills
    • Exceptional ability to collaborate with variety of business partners
    • Excellent Follow up skills
    • Excellent time management skills and adherence to urgency of time sensitive deadlines

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Gemological Diploma
      Strong Facilitation skills
    • Comprehension of adult learning styles and Instructional design
