    Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for Global Store Development based in New York, NY.  The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing enterprise-wide procurement and cost optimization opportunities, capturing cost reduction on Tiffany expenditures for goods and services, and assisting Global Procurement leadership with the execution of procurement strategy.  Spend categories focuses on Global Store Development.

    Responsibilities

    The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will support the planning and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives using a multi-step sourcing process for prioritized spend categories.  This includes developing category specification requirements and scopes of work that is consistent with business requirements and Global Procurement strategy.  This position will conduct spend analytics and utilize analytical expertise to deliver a comprehensive total cost of ownership assisting the business in delivering measurable cost savings.  Additionally, this role will Initiate and structure RFI's and RFP's and participate in supplier negotiations.

     

    The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will support and execute negotiation strategies based on supplier proposals and spend analytics while managing supplier selection process and provide data and recommendations to ensure informed business awards.  The Specialist will develop and administer contractual agreements in collaboration with business and legal departments while creating agreements to include all business requirements, statements of work and performance criteria.  This position will identify continuous improvement initiatives and monitor supply markets and assess opportunities resulting from new technology and product offerings.  Additionally, they will support the supplier quarterly business review process.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, supply management or relevant area
    • 2 to 4 years of exceptional category and procurement experience, preferably in the retail sector
    • Excellent math and analytical skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers and strong relationship management experience
    • Knowledge of contract fundamentals
    • Proficient in Microsoft and knowledge of Procurement tools
    • Ability to interact with all levels of Management
    • Masters Degree, CPM or similar certification is ideal
    • Consulting or private equity background a plus
