Tiffany & Co. operates a manufacturing facility in Cumberland, RI where jewelry products unique to our company are crafted by a diverse workforce.


    The Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt provides leadership, consultation and facilitation of projects and initiatives to improve critical business processes that drive financial results. The position will create the continuous improvement strategy to align and support business strategy then translate those strategies into actionable projects. The individual will scope strategic projects to develop project plans and business cases as well as train and lead project team members. Additionally, this role integrates with the facility's support services to develop, and deploy lean and six sigma knowledge, culture, principles, tools and techniques across the organization. 


    Lead Projects: Lead and participate in executing high complexity Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects, as well as direct individuals and cross-functional teams using Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies to achieve significant, sustained improvements to critical manufacturing and transactional processes, and to help management achieve annual goals and positively impact financial results.


    Identify and Measure Results: Pro-actively identify and facilitate opportunities for process improvement through use of appropriate improvement tools and techniques to ensure optimal improvement results. Ensure systematic development, definition, and deployment of appropriate metrics that include measures of efficiency and effectiveness, and integrates the "Voice of the Customer" as a critical component of process feedback. Take corrective project action as required to improve on results below target. 


    Training: Mentor and develop LSS Black and Green Belts in the execution of project tools and methods. Train team leaders and members in appropriate methods and tools for quality and performance improvement. Provide direction through influence of peers and management. Champion instilling Lean and Process Improvement methodology by driving and cultivating LSS culture. Act as a resource across the organization.


    Communication: Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks and and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams. Communicate solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations. Keep others informed of program status and coordination of activities with other project leaders.


    Minimum of 5 years related experience working in a manufacturing environment

    Bachelors Degree in business or technical discipline

    LSS Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification

    Demonstrated success delivering process improvement initiatives

    Ability to lead and influence a cross-functional team and motivate others to deliver results

    Strong oral and written communication skills

    Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

    Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

    Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects

    Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs

    Established project management skills
