  • Overview

    Responsible for accurate and timely data input, in addition to frequent and professional communication with cross-functional counterparts and external vendor base, in accordance with Tiffany & Company’s  policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    Administrative

    • Responsible for accurate data entry of all details related to cost negotiation and product cost break-out.
    • Partners with vendor compliance team, sourcing manager and analyst on all corporate social responsibility tasks including SAP, Conflict minerals and any other company initiatives.
    • Maintains department folders by Vendor to include all correspondence.
    • Reviews cost and systems update to ensure data integrity.
    • Responsible for the data integrity and information gathered through the Tiffany Vendor Exchange.
    • Create and distribute the Make vs. Buy agenda, recap and actions.

     

    Communication

    • Continuously interacts with vendors on procurement and any other vendor issues including quality, accounting and logistical issues. Escalates issues as appropriate. Collaborates with Cost Accounting to rectify pricing issues.
    • Works sourcing analysts and Manager  on vendor related issues.
    • Communicates cross functional with internal counterparts on any supplier related issues and updates.

     

    Business Support

    • Assists the sourcing analyst and Manager with projects or ongoing tasks to meet the needs of the business.
    • Supports analysis of sourcing, vendor risk dashboard.
    • Participates in audit activities and corporate social responsibility metrics.
    • Supports supplier on-boarding.

     

    Safety

    • Works safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, as well as all safety procedures required at your work-site.   Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
    • Strong Organizational, Communication and follow-up skills
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Office programs particularly, Excel, Access, Word and Power Point.
    • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a team environment
    • Willing to work flexible schedule /overtime as needed

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of MIPS and JD Edwards
    • Working Knowledge of DRP functions and processes
