The Senior Analyst is responsible for collaborating with Manager in setting assortment strategies for each product category to drive sales and maximize inventory productivity. The Senior Analyst will partner with Manager in setting sku-level pricing strategies for new and existing product to drive margin while maintaining proper pricing relationships among internal comps and appropriate consideration of market pricing. He/She will analyze assortments and will initiate and facilitate new product development accordingly. Cross-functionally, the Senior Analyst will partner with a variety of teams across Merchandising and Marketing on all product strategies as well as for Event support. He/She will be responsible for category reporting and maintenance of image grids as well as assisting Operations Senior Analyst with Replenishment functions.
The Senior Analyst will perform assortment analysis for select product categories and provide recommendations for assortment changes and improvements to maximize sales and productivity; Identify Regional trends and recommends assortment strategies when appropriate. He/She will analyze assortments by collection, classification and price point as directed, to maximize productivity and project objectives including year-end and quarterly reviews. The ideal candidate will support the development of reports and presentations, such as collection trend reports, style-outs, that communicate a high-level view of new product introductions and current assortment for meetings and conferences. This individual will participate in competitive shopping visits to support key initiative information gathering and research as it pertains to the current assortment. The Senior Analyst will propose, implement, and monitor worldwide assortments and partner with GMO team in the development of regional assortments. He/She will update and maintain item data for sku attributes in image grids, SKU descriptions, and ticket information in TPM, MIPS and PKB.. This individual will create and maintain tracker reports by partnering with CM Operations to ensure accuracy of item detail. The Senior Analyst will partner with CM Operations Analyst to maintain and rebalance merchandise to support world-wide assortment strategies as well as sales opportunities/client requests. He/She will support Blue Book Events and High Jewelry Events
The Senior Analyst will establish and implement margin reviews and pricing structure strategies to ensure margin requirements are met. He/She will manage, execute and communicate formal price change process conducting analysis and gathering comparison SKU information to set retails for new and existing product taking into account both margin targets and sales goals. This individual will resolve and submit of off-cycle pricing errors or discrepancies. The ideal candidate will determine retail replacement values for Valuation requests based on current market values, cost information; comparable products and dept. gross margin structure. The Senior Analyst will determine estimate retails for Custom Design requests based on like product (on hand & sold) and dept. gross margin structure. He/She will price new receipts (IR only).
The Senior Analyst will conduct reviews to validate the assortment on a quarterly (or as needed) basis, and provide direction for T-flags, E-flags, Auction and Break-Ups. He/She will partner with DM, RP, SM, GA, and BPR to establish strategies for managing overstock and aged inventory. The ideal candidate will prepare and review monthly and quarterly price change submissions to PLM. This individual will collaborate with coordinator to ensure accurate day to day item maintenance in MIPS/AA/JDE/TPM and make assortment changes/additions AA, APA, TPM and PLM as needed. The Senior Analyst will ensure project milestones are met on a timely basis including SKU creation, maintenance and Pricing updates.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for Stylemaster creation, TPM & PAD set-up and sign-off of new product receipts. He/She will analyze product assortments such as collection, classification, price point and sales trends, and make proposals for new merchandise based on findings. The ideal candidate will create and maintain reports and image grids throughout various stages of development, ensuring accuracy of item detail. This individual will partner with DM and GMO counterparts to achieve assortment count and SKU productivity objectives. The Senior Analyst will manage and ensure project team representation and provide updates on positioning, assortments, pricing, and distribution strategies. He/She will manage communication flow of new product and assortment life-cycle planning information with cross-functional counterparts (DM, SM, PD, RP, GMO and BPR). This individual will facilitate cross functional reviews (CM/DM/PD) of new product and partner to ensure target cost, retail pricing, and GM objectives for new product are met. The Senior Analyst will create and maintain Blue Book, Summer Press Preview and Fall Event Concept Decks and Master Files. He/She will manage & monitor DOPS file, review loose stones, and assign stones to styles regularly. This individual will partner with DM for re-orders for assortments and client sold orders. The Senior Analyst will follow up with Supply Management on status updates for POs and late orders and GA/DD on late stone purchases or transfers. He/She will assign sku descriptions and retails via OTP for repeatable products and new receipts for new products
The Senior Analyst will communicate with both central and regional teams to address and support category assortment and new product plans via daily communication. He/She will partner with cross functional teams to communicate and execute key initiatives, new product launches, assortments, discontinuations, reclass and pricing as needed. This individual will partner with Marketing and PR to maximize promotional support through product suggestions (Selections, Blue Book and Collections) and product placement (magazine, media borrows). The ideal candidate will partner with GMO/Retail to propose and coordinate SKU lists and ensure product availability and pricing accuracy for major and regional planned TR events, traveling collections, new store openings, and other strategic selling opportunities. The Senior Analyst will maintain and distribute image grids and reports per merchandising schedule and as needed. He/She will partner with CM operations to field branch inquiries and offer appropriate product suggestions in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will coordinate style-outs and product category reviews for various presentations. This individual will respond to Statement Council Requests in a timely manner by providing appropriate suggestions and partnering with CM Operations and/or Custom Design when necessary. The Senior Analyst will initiate product transfers for client inquiries, Marketing, PR, CD and PD requests, when needed.
