    One of Tiffany & Co’s strategic priorities is to deliver an exciting omnichannel experience for our global customers. The Manager, Client Development Data & Insights, will play a key role in executing on this priority by leading global insights & capabilities for Tiffany’s client development strategy, and will provide actionable recommendations to drive ongoing improvements. This individual will focus on identifying and executing critical enablers to support our global retail teams’ client development activities, from data capture to client management applications, reports & new tools, as well as data analyses to identify opportunities and track client-related KPIs.

     

    The Manager will be the marketing lead, partnering with Global IT, Sales Operations, Legal, Training and regional client development marketing & retail teams in the end-to-end project management of all initiatives. Therefore, this individual will demonstrate exemplary matrix project management skills, nimbleness, communication skills and an interest in data manipulation and analyses, as well as passion for the customer experience and retail.

    Responsibilities

    Client Development Insights

    • Derive actionable insights & business recommendations through ongoing analysis & reports.
    • Inform key decisions through ad hoc data analysis using Tableau and Business Objects Analyze findings and develop actionable insights to drive retail practices & behaviors.
    • Lead cross functional team to create and enhance reports for corporate, regional and store teams to track client development and data capture related programs, initiatives and KPIs.
    • Obtain critical inputs from the global & regional teams to inform report enhancement & development prioritization.
    • Track various client development and data capture related KPIs on a monthly basis to inform regional partners, senior leadership teams and other internal business partners.

    Client Data Management

    • Drive high quality data capture across our global retail network in close partnership with cross functional teams (ie. IT, regional and market contacts, legal).
    • Develop policies & procedures, process changes, training & communication as well as key system enhancements to increase our contactable global customer base and overall quality and comprehensiveness of the client information to improve marketing and clienteling
    • Identify additional opportunities to drive higher client development performance and robust data capture, incorporating into broader data governance roadmap in partnership with leadership.
    • Act as the key point of contact for our Customer Data Management contacts within each market to continuously receive insights and drive improvements.
    • Retail channel lead for customer data initiatives to address new business priorities & changing regulatory needs.
    • Lead efforts to investigate & resolve data challenges through clear identification of scope, impact & evaluation of resolution.

    Client Development Capabilities

    • Develop initial business requirements and success metrics for new strategic capabilities and features that will increase the sales team’s client development abilities, contributing to increased sales & ongoing client loyalty.
    • Identify opportunities to improve the identification, understanding & management of Tiffany’s existing and prospective clients through retail-facing platforms and features.
    • Prioritize enhancement needs and refine the future state capabilities roadmap in partnership with leadership team.
    • Develop high level business requirements and success metrics for all new capabilities & tools with input from key regional CRM stakeholders.
    • Consult in the creation of all training materials & communications to ensure seamless tie to client development strategy.
    • Conduct assessments in partnership with Global Sales Operations team to evaluate adoption & effectiveness of all capabilities & tools through reporting, surveys and in-store evaluations. Translate the findings into actions & recommendations. 

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years related work experience
    • Strong experience with manipulating large data sets
    • Superb project management expertise including excellent multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills
    • Experience partnering with analytics and IT teams.
    • Excels at partnering cross functionally including with Retail Sales, eCommerce, IT, vendors/consultants and multiple global counterparts to launch and maintain projects on track
    • Track record of high impact management in matrix environment
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and creating processes in complex environments to drive progress
    • Pro-active with a “get-it-done” results-driven mentality
    • Ability to effectively drive decisions through outstanding written and verbal communications
    • Experience with data query tools such as Microsoft Access and business objects
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivots, vLookups), Microsoft Power Point, Word, Outlook
    • Skilled at and enjoys manipulating and understanding data and extract recommendations/propose enhancements
    • Strategic & creative thinking

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with marketing / client development applications.
