The Tiffany & Co. Branch Security Manager maintains a secure environment for customers and employees at all times and is responsible for all physical security applications and emergency response programs within the local store environment as well as in his or her market. This role is a robust position with many daily duties that include assisting with operations controls and protecting company assets. The Tiffany Branch Security Manager will be accountable for the following key accountabilities:
Manage Security Controls and Operations: Ensure a consistent, visible and accessible physical presence at entrance/exit doors to protect assets, employees and the facility at all times according to Global Protection standards. Manage security team in store location to ensure the Security Officers remain focused on the main drivers of security culture in a single store or multiple stores in the immediate market. Regularly communicate security initiatives to the Security team and ensure compliance. Partner with Global Protection and Store Management to enhance security, deter theft and report missing assets according to established standards. Respond to emergency situations and implement Incident Management Programs procedures as required. Develop plans and schedules to ensure security during store hours, for overnight. Maintenance, and for company events and merchandise conveyance across the market. Ensure security systems and procedures are to standard by following up on daily inspections, equipment, alarm tests, inspections, key access, and report submissions. Conduct safety meetings, evacuation drills, and training. Lead and ensure accurate expense control, accurate record retention, audit compliance, and adherence corporate standards, processes and procedures.
Partner with Northern America functional groups to execute initiatives according to brand standards and directives.
Clienteling/Service Excellence: Lead and champion team on executing consistent and superior service delivery to increase and retain customer loyalty by coaching staff to acknowledge customers as they enter and leave the store, providing each customer with a consistent and gracious greeting. Model, communicate and hold staff accountable for demonstrating the behaviors that enhance customer service and engagement. Act as a Retail Store Manager to manage operations and sales teams, lead store initiatives and foster cross functionality of staff. Ensure merchandise presentation standards are adhered to minimize loss while maintaining a gracious, secure store environment. Support key Company, Regional, and Local events and product launches.
Talent Management: Motivate and inspire Security team through effective use of the performance management process, regular coaching and enthusiastic communication; extend this leadership to other locations within the market when needed. Regularly monitor and coach Security team on the importance of providing exceptional service. Ensure Security team understands and enacts important points of audit that must be maintained (door coverage, key control, trash inspections, IMP lists, Health and Safety meetings, etc.). Responsible for creating and maintaining an aligned and positive work environment amongst all store employees. Attract and recruit a high performing Security team including developing relationships with top talent at competitors. Develop and execute action plans based on 2014 employee survey results.
