  • Overview

    The Order Specialist is responsible for the accurate daily processing and analysis of repair orders including both systematic and physical movement of merchandise through the Repair System and within the Tiffany Service Center. The Specialist reviews repair orders and their merchandise to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues. In addition, the Specialist stages repair orders for movement through the facility, while maintaining merchandise security.


    Adhere to all Tiffany & Co. policies and procedures while processing orders within established time frames and production standards.

    • Provide efficient, timely and accurate physical and systematic processing, analysis and movement of repairs
    • Identifying and communicating potential order issues
    • Ensure accurate order information, including but not limited to item description, order type, complete repair request and identification of counterfeit merchandise
    • Communicate workflow effectively through updating memos and following up on orders, streamlining feedback to internal and external customers

    Quality and Service and Excellence

    • Act as a liaison between the Service Center and all internal customers
    • Respond professionally to all telephones and emails in a timely manner
    • Act as an internal customer advocate by working with all departments at the TSC and obtaining information necessary for resolution of customer issues
    • Accurately transact parts within JDE both systematically and physically per repair orders request as necessary.  Maintain inventory accuracy and raise any discrepancies to Inventory Control Team and Management

    Special Projects

    • Assist management with projects and/or ongoing tasks to meet the needs of the business
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate accordingly with responsible parties
    • Offer cross-functional support to colleagues within Vault Operations and other departments when needed


    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree
    • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • 2 years business experience with strong operational background
    • Strong initiative and the ability to work without constant direction
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and provide resolution for areas of improvement
    • Excellent organizational abilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong academic and/or business background with English language usage, grammatical and communication skills
    • Flexibility with schedule, assignments and willingness to work overtime (possible weekends required during holiday season)
    • High ability to collaborate, build strong business relations and influence without direct authority

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Tiffany & Co. computer applications (i.e. AS400, MIPS)
    • Experience working in an operations, technical, or luxury retail environment
    • Some familiarity with jewelry, watches, clocks and silver products
    • Graduate Gemologist
