  • Overview

    The Project Specialist role provides project-based support for all Global Education Training Programs and materials including project management, translation management, budgeting and event related support.  This role is critical to providing a seemless development and delivery of materials and ensuring an efficient opporating model is utilized within the department.

    Responsibilities

    Global Education Core Business

    • Maintain program files on the Global Shared Drive and various file share servers for all training content.
    • Facilitate user access and IT relationship for global file sharing platform.
    • Create and maintain catalog of current training materials in all Tiffany-designated languages.
    • Liaise with Global Training Directors, regional, and international contacts to provide guidance, tools and support for implementation of training.
    • Work closely with Global Education leaders to obtain project timelines for 360 initiatives and track against Global Education project plan to ensure timing is aligned with key Global initiatives.
    • Collect content, produce and distribute bi-weekly Global Education Newsletter.

    Translation Management

    • Serve as primary point of contact for all internal and external translation inquiries.
    • Project management of vendor-led translations and distribution of all training programs and materials in up to thirteen languages.
    • Partner with Regional Training Directors to coordinate translation and review process for individual programs/projects.
    • Partner with Manager of Learning Technologies to maintain and reconcile translation budget.

    Department Planning

    • Prepare, update, and distribute annual Global Education project plan.
    • Manage Global Training calendar, obtaining information directly from Market Training Directors and aggregating into a global view.
    • Gather and analyze Global Training data and prepare quarterly report presenting quantitative/qualitative information measuring training results and business impact.

    General Global Education Operations

    • Maintain departmental budgets. Review and submit invoices, reconcile expenditures monthly, and provide quarterly budget reports to department leadership.
    • Plan for all logisitics of Global Education meetings and programs, including but not limited to booking of venues, organization of travel, food and beverage; provide on-site support at event as needed.
    • Respond to queiries from broader organization. Coordinate with department leadership and SME's to determine need and response.
    • Oversee management of Global Education Mailbox.
    • Process payroll for Global Education department
    • Serve as departmental IT liason.
    • Manage onboarding setup for new departmental hires.
    • Maintain and order office supplies.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years Project Management or similar experience.
    • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
    • Experience identifying and creating departmental efficiencies through process improvement.
    • Confident communicator, with abilty to manage relationships with global and corportate partners.
