The Manager, Inventory Operations for Merchandising will lead the Inventory Operations team in the management of product samples and finished good inventory to support Merchandising projects. S/he will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that the department meets evolving business and project needs. This individual will ensure procedures are in compliance with audit and security requirements, update and publish procedures as required. The Manager will create required management reporting to support the ongoing analysis of department procedures.
The Manager, Inventory Operations is responsible for ensuring inventory related tasks for Product Development are performed timely and accurately. S/he will implement and enforce the necessary procedures and controls to ensure physical and systematic inventory accuracy targets are achieved.
This individual will manage, coach, develop, and motivate staff. Encourage innovative and forward thinking. Sustain a corporate culture that is ethical, collaborative, innovative and creative. Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable audit and safety-related policies and procedures.
S/he will conduct analysis as well as develop, review and implement strategic and tactical plans to support strategic objectives. This includes developing annual profit and plans, operational measurements, and the reporting and distribution of analysis to PD & Merchandising management teams.
The Manager will develop, review, and assist in the implementation of procedures and policies to improve productivity, cost effectiveness, control, inventory accuracy and customer service. S/he will participate in interdepartmental meetings, partnering with department heads and project leads to build synergies fostering better communication, cooperation and strategic alignment.
Prior business/operations experience, particularly with handling high-value merchandise

Excellent PC skills and proficiency with MS Office applications
Strong communication skills
Four year degree, preferably in operations or inventory management
Excellent systems knowledge of inventory control systems
