The Senior Analyst's role is to prepare and further develop trend analyses to identify channel and product risks and opportunities. To provide management and Merchandising counterparts with timely and accurate information for decision making, the Senior Analyst's role also encompasses steady reporting and analysis of worldwide actuals, plans and forecasts for product sales, purchases and inventory. Among the Senior Analyst's other responsibilities is assisting with reporting and presentations for various divisional and managerial meetings and conferences.
The Senior Analyst will prepare the issuance of and actively evolve weekly, monthly and quarterly trend reporting to cover broad spectrum of product and channel perspectives. S/he will provide high-level and in-depth analysis with appropriate and insightful trend commentary to Merchandising and Tiffany Management. Additionally, this individual will prepare the issuance and evolution of the monthly Sales and Inventory reporting. S/he will assist in the preparation of strategic reports and information for monthly management meetings, presentations for Board of Directors, Merchandising and Retail conferences, and support a board spectrum of ad hoc analyses, as needed, for divisional counterparts and management.
The Senior Analyst will serve as a liaison between Category Reporting & Analytics, Financial Planning and Demand Planning to aggregate financial sales, margin and inventory plans by product category. S/he will prepare and maintain and update planning process files and partner with IT on financial plan loads and reconciliations. This individual will partner cross-functionally with IT and Finance on reconciliation of sales costs and inventory in proprietary data sources to ensure data integrity maintenance, and work with Business Intelligence, IT, Finance and Process Improvement to support overall integrity of data systems related to Category Reporting & Analytics.
