  • Overview

    The Human Resources team is seeking a dynamic Retail Human Resources Representative to provide retail generalist support to the Southeast Market (Florida and Texas).  The HR Representative will be a strong partner to the HR Manager and focus on the core responsibilities of talent, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, benefits and compensation within multiple departments of each business unit. This position will partner with all functions of corporate Human Resources and other designated peers to assure compliance and legal standards are met in meeting business objectives.



    HR Business Partner:

    • Work with HR Manager to accomplish strategic business objectives.
    • Act as a strategic HR support partner and consultant to store management teams, as well as a liaison for HR between Southeast Market and corporate Human Resources.
    • Timely management and flawless execution of core HR processes using HR policies, systems and best practices.
    • Regularly act as a support and advisor to store teams and leadership to identify and escalate/mitigate risk through partnership with HR Manager, to create and support an inclusive environment and high employee engagement.
    • In partnership with the Benefits Advocate, effectively oversee and manage leave process within Market.
    • Champion new tools and resources to enhance the onboarding experience. Execute new hire check-ins and exit interviews as scheduled to identify and communicate positive and negative trends to proactively reduce turnover during the first year of employment in their first year.
    • Utilize HR levers and quantitative data to proactively identify trends to confirm/deny/reinforce qualitative assessments, with a solution orientated focus.
    • Partner with store management teams, to ensure that store leadership is driving engagement as an outcome of survey results.
    • On an as needed basis, conduct HR store visits with the HR Manager, as appropriate.


    • Strategically partner with the Recruiter team and store management teams to fill open positions with top talent, with a focus on Sales Professional positions.
    • Help drive succession planning efforts, in partnership with store management teams.
    • Proactively partner with the Recruiter, to identify effective talent acquisition tools and solutions, to maintain a qualified and diverse talent pipeline with a specific focus on hard-to-fill jobs/locations & skill gaps.
    • Maintain accurate reconciliation of market and store staffing plans, and propose sound hiring recommendations.
    • Execute all hiring objectives, in partnership with Recruiter, for Holiday/Seasonal staffing.


    • Effectively partner with members of the Corporate Human Resources team.
    • Mentor new hires, onboard and train seasonal HR staff members.
    • Demonstrate initiative by volunteering to participate in and successfully completing ad hoc HR projects.
    • Participate in a learning event (HR Training) to build HR acumen and develop HR network.
    • Demonstrate business acumen by maintaining an up to date awareness of market and company sales and KPI performance.


    Required Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of Human Resources generalist experience, with strong consultative skills
    • Strong interpersonal, conversational, and verbal communication skills
    • Multi-tasker, with the ability to follow-up, problem solve and think creatively
    • Strong interest in luxury retail
    • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a team
    • Proficient technical/computer skills in MS Office, HRIS and applicant tracking systems
    • BA/BS degree

    Preferred Qualifications:  

    • Masters Degree 
    • Luxury Retail Experience
