    The documentation and item data analyst for Tiffany Jewelry Supply Planning will be responsible for the analysis, maintenance, and data entry activity of item master data in critical business systems to ensure proper system functionality and data integrity. Primary focus will be in the areas of new item setup, item master information, ECN/ECO creation, oversee change control process, bill of materials and routing accuracy, sourcing and supply rules, and other manufacturing and planning concerns. This position will interface with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, IT, and life cycle management teams to ensure business system information is accurate and change control activity is executed in a timely manner.


    Work with the continuous improvement team to coordinate data maintenance requirements associated with all improvement projects. Support all data change management requirements for system upgrades and implementation projects across multiple business systems including ERP, APS, MES, and document control systems.

    Analyze large volumes of item master data for inconsistencies across multiple manufacturing branches and recommend appropriate changes. Requires fundamental understanding of Item setup, BOM, and routing structure in ERP systems.

    Work closely with engineering and new products teams to ensure the timely input of all new product data into Tiffany’s ERP and document control systems. Ensure item data is aligned with engineering, planning, and manufacturing needs within the product life cycle. Work to ensure data dependencies between multiple systems function as expected.

    Update item data and product documentation to support changing business needs, product relocation, product revisions, and document search requirements. Drive the pace of change through defined workflows and approval requirements.

    Assist in the gathering and reporting of performance KPI metrics for ECO/ECN activity. Drive improvement in the change management process through data analysis and effective supervision of approval workflows. Engage users and managers to improve engineering change cycle times.

    Define document approval workflows, monitor document libraries, configure document control software, and support documentation control software users. Work to ensure availability of documentation to authorized parties. Play a key role in the expanded use of Tiffany’s document control systems.


    Required Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience ERP or Advanced Planning Systems supporting manufacturing, planning, sourcing, or engineering.
    • Documentation control system and change management experience. 
    • Strong understanding of bill of materials (BOMs), Routings, and Item Master Data.
    • Highly adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Very good data analysis skill using Excel.
    • Highly organized.



    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Experience in one or more JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, or other modern ERP/MRP system modules.
    • Experience in ADEPT or other sophisticated document control software where workflows are utilized.
    • Experience supporting one or more modules in an Advanced Planning System such as Oracle, SAP, JDA, Logility, or Kinaxis.
