    Responsibilities

    The Personalization Professional will interact with clients using suggestive selling techniques to introduce personalization options with a stylistic flair. Emboss and engrave various items using equipment on the sales floor while engaging with customers. Use artistic skills to determine how best to represent a concept visually and then machine engrave or emboss various items. Also performs operational and administrative functions.

     

    Operational Excellence:

    • Provide exceptional operational support to drive sales and service.
    • Engage with customers to encourage creative interaction and self-expression. Introduce personalization options, provide demonstrations and use suggestive selling techniques to drive sales of personalization.
    • Prepare equipment on the sales floor enabling logos or lettering to be heat stamped or engraved onto Tiffany & Co merchandise or home goods. Includes silver polishing of merchandise in preparation for the engraving process.
    • Maintain equipment along with keeping area clean, organized and esthetically correct. Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues.
    • Ensure merchandise is located in the appropriate staging area and process incoming orders on-time.
    • Inspect completed orders for accuracy and ensure personalized merchandise meets Tiffany quality standards.
    • Partner and communicate effectively with Sales Professionals, management and customers to respond and follow up on orders, requests for assistance, and product information.
    • Support Company initiatives and operations efficiencies by ensuring all activities maximize productivity and providing feedback on process changes through appropriate channels. 

    Sales:

    • Partner with Sales Professionals to aid in closing sales. Deepen the relationship with our customers to drive lifetime loyalty and spend.
    • Work with clients to develop an artistic approach and style.
    • Effectively handle internal and external phone and email correspondence and partner with Sales Professionals and management to optimize sales opportunities.
    • Capture data during customer interactions to cultivate new and existing customers.

    Service:

    • Elevate the in-store experience, consistently delivering memorable moments.
    • Demonstrate passion as a Tiffany brand ambassador by providing the Tiffany Touch during every customer interaction.
    • Demonstrate Customer Experience behaviors identified within the TEI program.
    • Execute best practices by optimizing hospitality and store amenities to create unique experiences.
    • Utilize deep knowledge of product, service and care and handling instructions to maximize customer satisfaction and respond to inquiries and concerns.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or Equivalency required.
    • PC proficient; able to utilize a mouse.
    • Must possess general mathematical skills; must be able to perform basic measurements.
    • Must have good problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
    • Attention to detail is imperative.
    • Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Two years work experience in customer facing capacity.
    • Previous experience in an art, design, or technical production based environment.
    • Customer service skills.
    • Foreign language skills helpful.
