Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Manager – Global Brand Packaging in New York, NY. This position will be dedicated to supporting the Company's Global Packaging Strategy, activating retail support, and ensuring regional alignment. The role is collaborative and requires an individual who can take initiative, think openly, and operate creatively, while maintaining Tiffany's storied packaging brand legacy. The role also requires and agile thinker who can navigate and work with business functions across the company as needed to implement strategy. The Manager will partner with third party suppliers to drive operational efficiencies globally. S/He will also collaborate between Marketing and busines functions across the Company to meet strategy with global direction. The Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting new packaging briefs and related packaging development.
The Manager – Global Brand Packaging will lead business support and analysis by being the central point of contact that owns packaging supplier vendor relationships and acts as a liaison between internal business partners and suppliers while managing SOP’s and ensuring complete information is provided to packaging suppliers. The role will be responsible for the monthly forecast communication of unplanned usage and growth trends while reviewing and monitoring suppliers orders and reviewing standard monthly packaging supplier vendor reporting and KPIs. The Manager will work effectively with external partners yo further packaging strategy by developing a deep knowledge of the packaging category, competitors, trends, regional variations, emerging innovations, and consumer insights while using packaging category expertise and uniquely cross-functional perspective to develop innovative and entrepreneurial recommendations for packaging business growth and development.
The Manager will lead all packaging related projects through the phases of development and will manage new packaging initiatives by working with the Sourcing Analyst on RFQs/RFPs, manage development process with internal stakeholders and GP, obtain demand and communicate to suppliers. S/He will be responsible for all communication by working with all cross-functional packaging stakeholders at Tiffany and act as a central point of contact for all packaging related corporate requests, inquiries, and issues related to suppliers. This includes but is not limited to: Marketing, Merchandising, Distribution, Quality Auditor, Quality Assurance, Trademark, Business Continuity. Additionally, this position will partner appropriately on all social accountability program. As a leader, the Manager will be responsible for staff development including providing direction to prioritize projects, ensuring project and presentation accuracy, developing staff for future growth, performance reviews, and proper training.
