  • Overview

    The Lead - Personalization supports merchandise personalization globally with a focus on in-store personalization, and is the subject matter expert for in-store personalization supporting Corporate, Retail, Value Added Services, and After-Sales Service teams.  The Lead provides software and hardware technical support to stores and performs testing and quality assurance of engraving software enhancements.

    The position is the primary liaison for all corporate requests such as engraved samples, new templates, costs, timing, etc. as well as interacting with the primary external Vendor.

    The Lead also leads the procurement and tracking of all in-store personalization equipment.


    Personalization support to the Value Added Services and corporate teams:

    • Manage all corporate personalization requests: samples, cost quotes, time frames, display merchandise, etc.
    • Working with vendors and internal subject matter experts to test and perform quality assurance on software and hardware enhancements
    • Participate in and contribute to personalization project work including attending team meetings and representing VAS and the service network
    • Perform reporting and data analysis on personalization activities
    • Provide coverage throughout VAS as needed and able
    • Events

    Technical support for in-store personalization:

    • Manage a technical support email box used by stores and others needing assistance with personalization hardware or software
    • Organize and lead technical support conference calls for stores as needed
    • Manage the delivery of any needed personalization supplies and accessories to stores
    • Perform routine outreach and notifications on personalization to stores

    Equipment procurement:

    • Manage the relationship with internal the Procurement organization for personalization equipment
    • Track and maintain accurate records on equipment and costs.
    • Support new company initiatives as needed in Retail or E-Commerce relative to personalization



     Required Qualifications:

    • College Degree or professional expereience equivalent
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • 2+ yrs. of experience in a technical support capacity,( i.e. hardware, software, user acceptance testing)
    • Previous experience with reporting and analysis
    • Aptitude for measurement/visual alignment
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively work independently and/or work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment   
    • Excellent communication skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (Need to be flexible due to specific events)
