  • Overview

    The Manager Store Planning is responsible for the overall project management for retail and corporate projects within their region. They develop and manage project schedules, tasks, budget and cost control, General Contractor (GC) and vendor bidding, as well as site and GC coordination to insure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to Central quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    Planning

    • Prepare and maintain an overall project schedule
    • Liaise with Store Design and coordinate with internal Tiffany groups/departments to establish design criteria and program.  Coordinate with Store Design on all details, finishes, furniture, lighting/electrical, HVAC, & coordination with Tiffany internal Security, & I.T. groups.
    • Liaise with Store Design and project A&E team to ensure timely completion and coordination of construction documents that will be issued to approved construction managers/general contractors and vendors for pricing/bid

    Execution

    • Distribute tender packages and receive and review price bids from construction managers/general contractors and vendors and subsequently create a master budget for all project expenses including soft and direct costs. This may be in conjunction with a (QS) Quantity Surveyor consultant.
    • Negotiate &/or value engineer aspects of the project to maintain approved capital budget
    • Track budgets, utilizing GRESD cost control documents and Unifier, maintaining cost & spending control
    • Manage & oversee construction by contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with construction documents, design, schedule, budget, Tiffany standards, code compliance and local/building/LL regulations

    Reporting and Strategic Initiatives

    • Collect and organize all required project closeout documents, requirements for LL re-reimbursements if applicable, Certificate of Occupancy, and Internal Audit documentation

    • Manage and develop professional vendor relationships and develop and qualify new

    • Manage and develop mock-up exercises for finishes, showcases, and new architectural elements

    • Manage local staff and continued communication and process improvement with Tiffany corporate

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Building Technology
    • 5-8 years of experience in store planning in the region preferably for a global luxury goods or fashion company
    • Working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering
    • Strong interpersonal , communication, project management and people management skills
    • Multi-lingual and strong verbal and written English communication skills
    • Design and detail oriented
    • Client focused
    • International travel, off hours, and weekends required

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microsoft Project software
