Internship opportunity for a qualified college student currently enrolled at a college or university located in Rhode Island. The Strategic Sourcing Intern will provide support to the Sourcing department by partnering with the RI and NY Analysts in Strategic Sourcing to aid in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Flow Diagrams, and enhancement of the Supplier Onboarding Process .  The composition of these procedures, diagrams, and processes will add consistency and aid to the overall Supplier Strategy of the Sourcing Organization while ensuring Business Continuity.



  • Partner with RI and NY Sourcing Analysts to enhance SOP’s in existence or develop new SOP’s for Sourcing strategies
  • Partner with RI and NY Sourcing Analysts to develop flow diagrams for all related SOP’s for the Sourcing Organization
  • Analyze current Supplier Onboarding Process and develop overall Supplier Status listing for all RI suppliers for Commodities, ensuring all legal documentation is received / updated.
  • Create a master listing of all Supplier Onboarding documents which will then be uploaded into the Tiffany Vendor Exchange (TVE) for full visibility of the Supplier Base.
  • Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period
  • All other duties or projects as assigned


  • The qualified candidate will be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field at a college or university located in Rhode Island
  • Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills
