The Human Resources Coordinator position is based in the New York City corporate office and provides administrative support to the U.S. Retail Human Resources Team. Primary responsibilities include processing and reviewing pre-employment and background check materials, processing new hire documentation and assisting with the onboarding process, all while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. The Coordinator will gather, collate, verify, and audit data, produce reports, and maintain accurate electronic personnel files. The coordinator will also work on HR projects as assigned.
This is a temporary position with full time work week hours, for approximately 6 months, but may be shorter or longer duration based on business need.
The ideal candidate will have of 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources administrative/support role. This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, strong Microsoft software application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), and preferrably some experience with applicant tracking systems, iCIMS, and our HRIS system, PeopleSoft. The individual must be detail oriented, deadline driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Additionally, this position requires the ability to work independently as well as be an active, collaborative member of a team and the ability to work in a fast paced environment where business needs are constantly changing. The candidate must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed and flexible with changing job requirements as the business needs change. An in progress BA/BS or completed BA/BS is preferred.
