Overview

Results-oriented Assistant Manager responsible for managing project deliverables to generate sales revenue and support the TR client experience across all Tiffany regions.  This person supports the management of global and regional sales initiatives and programs. S/He works closely with GSO management and cross-functional teams to execute on strategic initiatives such as Blue Book, ongoing team communications, and other retail programs.

Responsibilities

Retail Programs:

  • Manage elements of planning and executing regional and global retail programs impacting client experience, wardrobing, selling events, and sales processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Merchandising, Marketing, and regional counterparts to manage project timelines and complete action plans. Liaise with vendors as needed
  • Help expand strategic customer segments by supporting business, educational, and sales events
  • Ongoing evaluation and implementation of improvements in Retail Programs, ie: How can we poll markets in a way that results in better qualitative feedback?   

Communications:

  • Lead content aggregation and execution for the monthly GSO Newsletter which is distributed to global retail and corporate partners
  • Lead content aggregation and execution of quarterly Trade Newsletter which is distributed to global trade partners (non-TCO employees)
  • Assist with managing departmental and global Communications on selling events, product launches, systems updates (COMPASS), and company news with the aim of providing transparency and standards for global consistency
  • Manage GSO intranet homepage updates and partner with GSO team members to update other sections with relevant information
  • Ongoing evaluation and implementation of improvements in communications vehicles, ie: How can we improve the way that we communicate updates to our retail and trade partners?

Event Support:

  • Collaborate with GSO and cross functional teams in event planning and logistics execution for Blue Book and other TR events, ie: overseeing hotel booking and managing reconciliations
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on previous TR events and work closely with regional teams to support local TR events as needed
  • Assist with event sales reporting which is distributed to senior management.  This includes liaising with global merchandising contacts, High Jewelry team, and others.
  • Partner with vendors where applicable to lead operational aspects of internal events such as external conference sites
  • Ongoing evaluation and implementation of improvements in event support, ie: Closer partnership with Global PR on roles and responsibilities

Special Projects:

  • Support additional leadership initiatives and special projects on an as-needed basis
  • Assist with various global polling and data aggregation as needed
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance existing programs in support of strategies 
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve year over year within existing and future GSO projects, ie: What processes can we improve in the client experience when attending an event?

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • College education
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional teams on a variety of projects
  • Focus on operational efficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience using Adobe Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience working with global markets
  • Experience in event planning and HNW client events
  • Understanding of regional client expectations and nuances
  • Familiarity with TCO retail operations and processes, ie: Business Objects
