Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating communication, coordinating projects and maintaining workflow  

Responsibilities

  • Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work guidelines and procedures for your position, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Maintain a well-organized work space consistent with 5S standards and promptly report all incidents, risks and safety issues to your supervisor and/or manager.
  • Track and maintain project plans and timelines to internal counterparts and team members.
  • Facilitate department meetings to include agendas, re-caps and ensure follow-up of tasks and actions. Maintain milestone documents for weekly/bi-weekly meetings with management and working group
  • Coordinate all engineering related data for auto-setting product development, new product development, dual source and special order projects, including cost estimates, Critical to Manufacturing documentantation, BOMs, item setup and routings.
  • Coordinate the approval and processing of engineering change notices (ECNs)
  • Create, update and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence and procedure manuals

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong communication (English written, verbal and presentation skills)
  • Proficient Microsoft computer skills (specifically Microsoft Office, Outlook, with a strong emphasis on Project)
  • Ability to read/understand technical documents, as well as manufacturing reports
  • Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize and flexible to change in direction
  • Strong reasoning ability, problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to use JDEdwards or business equivalent  

Preferred Requirements:

  • Industry certification (ex. CPIM) a plus
  • Associates or Technical college degree a plus
  • Project Management Certification or equivalent
