The Learning Specialist is responsible for but not limited to developing new and updating existing e-learning and instructor-led training modules from instructional design through review and implementation, facilitating instructor-led / virtual training classes, support the Tiffany Learning System and some departmental administrative tasks.


Course Development and Deployment:

  • Develop learning modules/quick reference guides following the ADDIE model.
    • Analysis- Performed in conjunction with Project Manager and Management.
    • Design- Apply Instructional and graphic design.
    • Develop- Develop the learning modules with company approved authoring tools Implement- review and implement learning modules.
    • Evaluation- prepares and facilitates evaluations of the learning modules.
  • Update existing learning modules.
  • Develop/update quick reference guides.
  • Perform analysis on user data to determine enrollment audiences in eLearning

Support/Maintain Tiffany Learning System (TLS) and Department SharePoint Site:


  • Data entry, reporting and problem solving as it relates to the Tiffany Learning Management System. This includes but is not limited to the following:
    • Create/edit/delete courses and sessions.
    • Enroll students and setup up auto-enrollments (enrollments based on job description, dept., etc.) as required.
    • Prepare, schedule and submit reports.
    • Maintain the course catalog.  
    • Troubleshoot e-learning access and completion issues.
  • Support new global admins with training as needed.

Project Management

  • Track progress using company approved software (currently Microsoft Project and Excel).
  • Provide project updates to customers and Management throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Partner with Management for analysis of learning content, implementation strategies, global audiences/cultures and industry trends regarding learning and evaluation.


  • Facilitate both instructor-led and virtual classroom/webinar sessions.
  • Facilitate in-class simulations and activities to assess learning retention.
  • Evaluate learner performance and communicate to management team.


Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years training and development/adult education experience.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant work experience.
  • Strong grammar, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees.


Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:

  • Learning Management System administration experience
  • Luxury training experience
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional Suite, other video authoring
