The 2nd shift Temporary Hand Assembler is responsible for setting up jewelry pieces for high-volume hand and machine assembly.

Responsibilities

The 2nd shift Assembler is responsible to hand assemble sterling silver, platinum and gold jewelry pieces according to Tiffany quality and production standards. The Assembler will operate various machinery including: Link-o-Matic, Keyring insert, cuff link bending, saw cutting links, tack welder, glue machine in order to assemble products. Inspect component and finished products for quality standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  •  2 years’ experience in jewelry assembly
  • Good communication skills in English, including the ability to read, write and comprehend
  • Availability to work 2nd shift hours 3:30 pm-12:00 am.
  • Ability to select proper tools and materials for the job and follow work instructions
  • Must have good hand dexterity and the ability to recognize problems with jewelry pieces
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work and communicate with others in a constructive professional manner

Preferred Qualification:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
