The Manager, Sustainability Reporting supports the Global Sustainability & Philanthropy Department in all areas of corporate, investor and internal sustainability reporting.  This role will involve working closely with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders.  Successful candidates will have demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and exemplary communications skills.  This role will serve as the connective tissue between CSR and Marketing teams to help establish Tiffany's reputation as a leader in sustainability.


CSR Reporting

  • Lead and project manage the annual Sustainability Report, in partnership with key Marketing functions, in line with the GRI and UNGC, including managing external consultants, as needed.
  • Plan and write accurate content for Sustainability Report, collaborate with internal subject matter experts and ensure quality and timeliness of all written materials.
  • Oversee review of Sustainability Report, including but not limited to: ensuring alignment with other external communications (including financial reporting), validating report with internal subject matter experts (i.e., Sourcing, Real Estate, Finance, HR, Legal), and liaising with external stakeholders for contributions or validation of the report.
  • Partner on internal and external promotion activities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks and trends, with an ability to think about the benefits and drawbacks, as well as how they intersect.

Metrics and Data Analysis

  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors/reviewers of data for annual sustainability report (i.e., PwC).
  • Use advanced data visualization techniques to help identify hotspots where focus on CSR improvements will accelerate achievement of Tiffany's CSR goals.
  • Prepare data processes and accuracy protocols to ensure readiness for independent third party review of sustainability data.
  • Collaborate closely with teams aggregating data and information for external content.
  • Work with the Assistant Manager to regularly analyze Tiffany's sustainability performance.  Proactively recommend and drive improvements based on identified performance gaps, merging requirements, market trends and external benchmarking.
  • Create and present compelling, evidence-based written and visual summaries of sustainability performance for both internal and external audiences, including executive dashboards, scorecards, slide decks, and reports.
  • Create reports, graphics and data representations through Credit360 and other means to represent data trends, performance and progress.


  • Serve as the central point of contact between Sustainability and Marketing functions.
  • Provide strategic input on sustainability and philanthropic communications, serving as a subject matter expert and the central point of contact between Sustainability and Marketing functions, Internal Communications and Global Education.
  • Liaise with Corporate Communications on sustainability or philanthropy related media opportunities or speaking engagements.
  • Lead review and response to internal and external stakeholder inquiries, including investor related CSR surveys.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and fact sheets as needed, with attention to detail and a demonstrated understanding of Tiffany's sustainability and philanthropic priorities and messages.
  • Identify and support opportunities to communicate the Tiffany CSR story internally and externally including integrating CSR into existing corporate channels and materials.
  • Conducting issue-specific research; preparing analysis or talking points for meetings, presentations and conferences;  building network of internal sustainability champions.
  • Validate the accuracy and relevancy of Tiffany's sustainability communications, in alignment with the CSR Report and website.

Industry Knowledge and Field Research

  • Stay abreast of emerging CSR trends and best practices and share relevant information with applicable internal stakeholders in an accessible and compelling fashion.
  • Track and analyze trends in relevant sectors, including luxury, jewelry and mining.
  • Perform benchmarking on specific topics, issue areas, or trends, as needed. 


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6-8 years relevant experience, preferably managing, analyzing and reporting on sustainability performance in a large company
  • Strong knowledge of current tools and trends in sustainability and the methods with which sustainability can be integrated into business operations
  • Ability to write, edit and present compelling content
  • Ability to perform quantitative tasks with speed and accuracy, including collection and management of data
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex subject matter in a clear and compelling manner
  • Superior relationship building skills and the proven ability to negotiate with, and influence, a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including decision makers, industry groups, organizations and industry influencers
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, including the ability to connect business strategy to communications outcomes
  • Previous experience with CSR reporting standards, such as UNGC, GRI, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, balancing competing priorities, and diplomatic engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at both a very technical and big-picture strategic level.
  • Experience of being productive in a fast-paced team

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to gather, analyze package and make thoughtful recommendations based on insights from data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Strong design aesthetic and ability to use advanced data visualization tools
  • Ability to perform advanced business analytics, including advanced Excel skills
  • Interest and experience with the luxury sector
