Tiffany & Co. is currently seeking an IT Release Manager in Parsippany, NJ. This experienced IT professional will be responsible for driving and coordinating enterprise technology project and operational releases for all Tiffany & Co. technical teams. This position is the primary operational role for the management and execution of the organization’s Release Management Process and will be responsible for the overall enterprise release schedule across the organization.


The IT Release Manager will recommend and implement process and standards for IT Release Management, design, workflow, implementation and documentation. S/He will develop strong working relationships with the key business and IT partners. This role will commit to a culture of constant improvement around key activities and metrics, including KPIs, while managing risk and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.


This role will lead the end-to-end management of the IT Release Management Process with key stakeholders (business, IT organization, sourcing partners, etc.) within assigned area, ensuring that operational processes are followed and improved upon including proper Change Management processes and approvals for all types of releases. S/He will manage and maintain the Enterprise Release Schedule and partner with business, IT, and associated partner to facilitate deployment activities. Additionally, The Manager will facilitate, document and evangelize the IT Release Management process, purpose, and direction in alignment with the global IT Technical Services strategy.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science, and/or related experience; advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years’ of experience, specifically 4 to 6 in IT Release Management
  • Experience in a global, public company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, leadership, problem solving and influencing skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing needs
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills, establishing & maintaining trust with individuals at various levels of internal and partner organizations
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management or ITIL Intermediate Certificate: Release, Control & Validation is preferred
  • Experience managing releases using Agile and DevOps methodologies utilizing continuous development, testing, deployment, and monitoring is ideal
