Supports the jewelry manufacturing supplier sourcing, contracts and vendor relationship management to meet management’s master acquisition plan. Provides input and analysis to support the development and onboarding of manufacturers. 



  • Supports Make vs. Buy supplier selection activities.
  • Communicates with divisional counterparts to meet function’s overall strategy, while contributing to value enhancement.
  • Works with team members to seek cost reduction and process improvement opportunities – engages suppliers in the process.
  • Helps in the execution of category management strategies and activities using strategic sourcing process and approaches for assigned categories/sub-categories.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.


Metrics and Analysis

  • Continuously supports Tiffany & Co.’s Jewelry Supply sourcing plan and other key performance metrics.
  • Creates and develops reports and analyses to meet the needs of the business. Shares results with Management and identifies recommendations.

  • Analyzes current metrics and pursues improvements and new metrics.

  • Conducts supplier market analysis, category analysis and category risk analysis .

  • Develops and maintains vendor scorecard.



  • Partners with liaisons and assists in cycle counting of stones at VV suppliers.
  • Partners with liaisons to perform all auditing procedures related to purchase orders (SOX compliance).

Project Management

  • Plans category supply strategies and plans and conducts sourcing projects by engaging stakeholders and the required cross-functional resources.
  • Works with cross functional project teams such as New Product Development to achieve optimal timing for new product launches.
  • Collaborates with Jewelry Supply Planning in providing capacity planning inputs to make vs buy decisions.



  • Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.



Required Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting category management or strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Advanced MS Office computer skills – specifically Excel and Access
  • Strong organizational, verbal communication, writing and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving and analytics skills, strong work ethic
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Project management experience


Preferred Skills

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree
  • High-end jewelry manufacturing experience
  • Conversational communication skills in a second language
  • Professional qualification / certification from related professional body, (ISM – CPM / CSCP or CPIM, APICS)
