Overview

The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for developing digital copy in the SEO field. S/he will utilize SEO best practices, practical applications and opportunities. S/he will partner closely with the SEO Manager to optimize existing content for global Tiffany sites with the goal of growing keyword rankings and relevancy across Google search results.

Responsibilities

The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for copywriting in SEO and digital. S/he will develop on-page copy optimizations across pre-identified areas of opportunity, including duplicate content, H1 tags, meta descriptions, category pages, sub-category pages and product description pages. S/he will propose, develop and execute digital content strategies across Tiffany.com to enhance content in support of high-volume search keywords. S/he will manage and integrate SEO initiatives into digital content strategy from a copy perspective.

 

The Senior Copywriter will communicate and collaborate with SEO Manager to improve Google ranking for keywords related to Tiffany categories, collections and products. In addition, s/he will partner closely with Digital Copy and Brand Messaging teams, Global Digital Marketing team, SEO and North America eCommerce teams as well as Tiffany’s agency partners.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in digital copywriting and developing content and brand strategy for SEO purposes for a global retailer or ecommerce business.
  • Strong copy development skills, SEO and general business acumen.
  • Experience using keyword research and SEO content optimization tools such as BrightEdge and the ability to prioritize optimization based on associated data.
  • Competency writing accurate, compelling and succinct copy with an attention to grammar, SEO and brand guidelines.
  • A clear understanding of digital content strategy and its application to Tiffany.com pages, direct marketing emails, videos, banners and campaigns.
  • A deep knowledge of ecommerce and user experience within the digital space.
  • Ability to write clips that demonstrate a broad range of styles and quickly adapt to the Tiffany voice while incorporating SEO language and best practices.
  • Familiarity with keyword search and analytics and demonstrated results growing SEO channel performance.
  • Highly motivated with the capability to meet extremely tight deadlines while multi-tasking and managing a high volume of projects.
